Tourism Authority of Thailand

Tourism has long been a key economic sector of the Thai economy, as it not only helps generate foreign income for the nation but also helps to bridge the gap of growth distribution between people in the large cities and those in other areas through job creation in various tourism related business.

APRIME® Hotels & Resorts, has been established and managed by a team of highly experienced executives who have earned experiences in hotel management both in Thailand and abroad. Other executives are also experts in their respective fields.

During the past 41 years of tourism development, Thailand has become one of the world’s leading destinations. And in-line with this development, the hotel sector has become more and more important in terms of raising the standard of Thai tourism, thus, making the setting up of APRIME® Hotels & Resorts an indication of another step forward for the Thai hotel industry.

The establishment of these premises highlights the combination of an International standard with Thai culture, a concept demanded to promote Thainess amidst the increasing degree of a borderless world economy.

On behalf of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), I would like to extend my best wishes to APRIME® Hotels & Resorts, and do hope that initiative will help bring the overall Thai hotel industry to a new standard that is appreciated by all visitors.

APRIME® Hotels & Resorts, Asia’s newest hotel management company, was founded by Mr. Danai Wansom, President and Chief Executive Officer.

The company will focus its management activity initially in Thailand and then in other Asian countries. Mr. Wansom’s strong operational and management skills were formed while working in Hotel chain in Hong Kong and Thailand such as Hyatt, Delta, Century and most recently Furama hotels & Resorts International as General Manager of the Grand Pacific Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.

He has assembled a group of very competent and resourceful associates who, in conjunction with his expertise and leadership style, will make APRIME® Hotels & Resorts a major force in hotel and resort management throughout the region.
